Summer's Gone - Season 2 - Steam Log #1
Hello,
It's been a while since I've posted on Steam. However, I decided to make this a habit now.
From now on, I'll make a post every month or two summarizing what I post bi-weekly on my Dev Logs on Patreon and SubscribeStar.
Soon, Where it All Began S1 (EA) will be released on Steam. It plays around 20 years before SG, and it's worth checking out if you like SG and its world.
You might meet some familiar faces.
I've made a news post there, too, with some previews.

The release is drawing closer - Steam Log #1
Hello, The first post on Steam for WiAB. I guess it's good if we start with a little bit of info and transparency.
Afterwards, I will focus on the rest of S2's Chapter 1.

Summer's Gone - Season 2 - Chapter 1
I must admit that I overdid it with the size of the next update. It will feature around 7000 still images.
To put this into perspective, Season 1 had 12000 in total.
So the next Chapter is almost as big as 60% of Season 1.
I wanted to ensure the new Season was worth playing, but I underestimated the mental load. WiAB's upcoming Chapter 4 is also double the usual size (~4000 still images).
A reason why I don't post much besides my bi-weekly development logs on SubscribeStar/Patreon, is that after working all day, I have zero social energy left.
I can't explain it myself as I'm usually quite social.
Maybe it's just the sheer size of these updates.
Regarding the languages:
Spanish is done, but the translator said there are some code bugs. Some strings didn't get added to the translation file.
I will update Season 1 in the upcoming months, adding the languages and fixing the bugs that were reported to me on Discord.
Sadly, I cannot gather feedback from the reviews on the game. I can't view my own store page because I live in Germany.

I recently bought a new Workstation with some very impressive specs, and greatly increased my render output.
I now have two Workstations that work all day and night. The old one renders animations, while the new one sets up scenes and does still renders.
I'm no longer limited by the number of renders my Pc can render overnight. It now outperforms me.

I'll make more posts on Steam now.
Take care, guys, and be safe!
