So, It's been a week since Chapter 5 BETA was released, and I'll drop it down a tier in around a week.
Thanks to everyone who started supporting the game, and also a big thanks to everyone who reported some bugs.
From now on, I'll be referring to Season 2 Chapter 1 as "S2-CH1"
As with WiAB, I did work on the next update while doing Chapter 5. It wasn't nearly as efficient as with WiAB. (WiAB has an A6000 with 48GB VRAM.)
But I managed to get some stuff done.
The current render count is:
S2-CH1 = 190 stills + 55 seconds of animations. (I did quite a few animations already.)
CH2 rework = 225 stills.
So, while I'll finish the last part of the rework, I'm also working on Season 2.
Changes with Season 2:
The game is a new entity. This means it's a separate download and .exe.
Season 2 will be in 4K, the file size will be around 20% bigger, but the quality will be chef's kiss.
I've been rendering in 4K for years but always had to scale the images down.
Season 2 is adult-rated and, therefore, will start with a lot less music. I'll collect more and more as time goes on.
Saves will be transferred with the full version. So yeah, that's why I said don't make all your routes in the BETA. You'll have to play the full version to transfer your saves.
That's because the Chapter 2 rework adds several new events and choices. Bella lovers get a lot there.
I'm pretty sure I forgot something, and if so, I'll tell you about it in the next log.
A single Blender Sasha image.
I ported Sasha over, and she gave me quite a headache yesterday... But I managed to do it, and it's a huge improvement over her old port.
The image is pretty sexy by Sasha's standards... So yeah, it can be found

New Tier added.
A few very generous boys have some pretty high custom pledges, and my highest tier at the moment is 50$.
I created a 100$ tier. Aurora Borealis.
While it's mostly just a supporter tier, they and the Ethereal Glow boys will get 1-3 additional, slightly spicier treat images in the future. (So whenever I create a new Set, they will get more. The spicier pics will drop to the Ethereal Glow's after a week.)
You also get a Discord role + more voting power on the soon-to-be-started Blender short story polls.
As always, don't ever feel pressured to pick a higher tier.
Always take care of yourself first.

I'm not previewing anything of S2-CH1 yet, as not everyone has played the last Chapter yet. With the next Dev Log, I'll publish the first S2-CH1 preview(s).

WiAB is going to be released this month, I hope.
And with the upcoming update, I'd say WiAB becomes worth playing. It's still in the introduction, but Chapter 3 contains a bunch of interesting lore.
