What I want to know is when will the update be released for free tiers? I'm guessing this week's deadline will be for the top tier members and there will be few days/weeks delay for the ones who get it free here? Or am I wrong?

It's not a deadline. He never calls it a deadline. Why do people keep saying it's a deadline? Why do people keep treating it as a deadline when he makes sure to never call it that?

Maybe you are exaggerating, but a lot of people seem will misread what he says then get mad at him for their lack of reading comprehension. He says "I MIGHT have it ready here" or "I'll try to get it done here", then people interpret that as a deadline instead of an estimate, then say "he's bad at deadlines.

It was never a deadline. You'll be a lot less disappointed when you stop misinterpreting his words.

But you cant avoid deadlines. When he says the release will be the first week the deadline is sunday. Release dates are probably his only weak point as a dev, theres nothing wrong with pointing it out.

When you think about it, Hunter is winning. Like in what if #3, Hunter is looking for someone to carry on his legacy. He told Sterling's dad that he would become a Dio Del Sesso. He thought he had his successor with Drew, but Drew made changes that would prevent knocking everyone up. Sterling refused to take on the role, but did it anyway, he just doesn't know it. Other than the body parts he is losing, Hunter is getting to watch his desires unfold. He's referring to the fact that Drew had her testicles removed as part of her transition. Drew might have done this as a method of birth control, but the main reason was to stop producing the testosterone hormone, in order to appear more feminine. She still injects some testosterone in order to maintain sexual function however.

Edit: But honestly, Ophelia being possessive of Sterling and protective of Aliza are totally believable behaviors. Besides, it only sets up a temporary obstacle to be overcome, which makes the reward that much sweeter when Ophelia inevitably gives in. It's more believable than her becoming instantly supportive of Sterling's every desire, and that makes her a more interesting character than most of the fuck puppets in these kinds of games. There are so many other games that are simplistic fantasies written by (probable) virgins, it's refreshing that this one actually has some layers to it.

What are you talking about, we just had an update on Dec 26: "Release Window Target - First week of January". At least wait until the week actually ends without a release or an update before making such a comment.

And don't worry about his subscribers, for the last 2 years there's been a steady 1000 of them.

And this dev's estimates are very workable given the context. He tells us a chapter is 50% done, after 4-5 months. And 4-5 months later the chapter is almost done. That's an estimate working as intended.
He tells us the game comes out end of December, then bumps it back by only a week. Meaning that his guesses are CLOSE to reality.
AND when he says "December release" he even tells people that if you paid December and don't pay January, you STILL get the full official release, so you don't have to pay twice.

He does not infinitely push dates back. Stop lying about him. Stop misrepresenting his work ethic. He gives progress reports then teasers.

You may hate waiting. I hate waiting too. But that doesn't mean we get to start saying dumbstuff.

I'm just going to say that I have failed to see a dev that meets the deadlines. These are things that happen when you work on your own and without any contract you know

You seem to be on a crusade about this but I just don't understand why. No one is saying the dev hasn't missed his estimates, but why exactly does he NEED to get better at it? If most of his supporters will tolerate a mere month delay, then what is the problem? WWG hasn't done anything egregious enough to lose my support, I've been satisfied with the value of previous releases, and the monetary cost is insignificant to me anyway.

Alright. What do you think the solution is?

Would you be satisfied if in November he said "Check back in March" then releases the update in January? Or would you be angry because March feels like too long? Do you think he gives the estimate of December because he likes lying to you? Or because people like yourself complain about release times and he's trying to make you happy?

He typically doesn't even give target months. He just says 35%, 50%, 85%, etc.

Do you think he's slacking off and being lazy? Because he gives progress reports and feedback.

What do you think is a solution to this problem?
