Also, I don't remember having any problems with your way of development before, but apparently it isn't the kind that is very open to feedback, unfortunately.
Not every game is going to resonate with every player, that's especially true when switching genres (Urban Fantasy to SciFi). Most players who've been playing it seem to enjoy it so far.

If I see actionable feedback I agree with I respond to it. Unfortunately, "The game is shallow and has no world-building" is not actionable feedback (and I don't agree with the description). That's okay; you're entitled to your own opinion, and if this game isn't for you, hopefully some other game will be instead.

Morningstar's participating in VN Fest, and it's 25% off this week!

In other news, Love of Magic's New Game+ mode is complete for all 3 games. Finish a game and start back at the beginning, with new dialog, new events, new quests and a 'true' ending.

And with that out of the way, I can finally focus fully on my next game, Wings of Empire. First act is getting close to the finish line, but I've still got some more events to write, and sexy girls to romance.

Check it out here, or play the opening Act on Morningstar's Beta Branch.

I waited until this was completed before i played it Droid, but i must admit in 100% pure honesty, its not even close to being as good as Love of Magic this is mainly because of the reuse of characters u made me(and many others i hope) fall in love with them because of their personalities and mannerisms then you re-used and redesigned them and that alone spoils any flair they had and can create (i dont blame you tho re-using models can easily speed up development) but it deters from this games overall enjoyment and uniqueness. The premise is great in its intrigue and conception but the execution feels lacking because fans remember what was, compared to what now is and its not the same in its amazement and captivation as what we loved from Love of Magic. This doesnt make it bad, just disappointing like an EA game copying the last super popular original hit.

Tbh im not truely upset (i didnt pay anything for this, been decieved too many times to ever give $$$ through patreon again sorry/notsorry) but as ur basically my favorite dev in this game/style genre i just expect more as your one of the few that actually completes what they start (in a timely manner) while not fleecing their fans for every cent they can steal before disappearing and making a new account to do it all again. I love ya and your work for your commitment to finishing what you start and making it different to whats out there, but i just selfishly (and unjustified in that selfishness) want more from you as im spoiled by what u have given previously.

Dude, read some of Droid's posts........he explained that this game was a sort of "What if...." with some of the same SOULS.... and it's a one-off, not like he's doing carbon-copies of the exact same game......

No need to pick up your pitchfork my good fellow. Ive had some very constructive conversations with Droid before and found him to be very welcoming towards criticism as long as its constructive and not condescending, and that is what makes Droid a magnificent developer. In the end its Droids game to make and ill still play anything he produces as i think he does an amazing job but constructive criticism is never a bad thing if its honest and well meaning, it can give a developer insight or ideas towards things that they are hung up on in storyboards and design ideas. Or ways to avoid stagnation and tropes. I also expressed that while i was doing criticism in a complaining type of way i also knew my words were selfish and in a way bias towards his previous work and more an expression of my personal opinion towards this game tho i forgot to mentioned Morningstar was still a great game and enjoyable to play but i truly preferred the way the returning characters were written in Love of Magic especially Molly (who i disliked at first but grew to become one of my favorites over the 3 books) but i didnt like her in Morningstar and i also preferred the Poker combat system to candy crush but thats just me and my preference, nothing wrong with stating your opinion as long as you dont act like your correct and Droid was wrong because he wasnt its his game.

on another note i hope that made sense im way too drunk and just this has taken me like 25minutes to write (thankyou spellcheck's squigly red line).
