the game wont let me put a review it just keeps saying oops so heres what i was trying put.

This is one of the best games out there. Story is good and believable and there is already fair bit of content too.

now the issues.
due to updates being so big you tend to complete then have move onto something else for long time as only seem get 2-3 updates a year.
Most disappointing point in the game is once you complete all content with a girl then that girl just completely vanishes except for in bed at night, are we really suppose believe Caroline and Sara etc just get up in morning before mc and hide in another city until they go to bed? and Sara doesn't even go to school anymore?? once you get to end of current work for each character then all characters should still be in the game in certain places with some repeatable content and not just vanish off the earth.
Also so much of game is under progress so please don't try coming with new updates that introduce new characters until you dealt with all this under progress as there plenty characters already in the game who still have little to no content, including the teacher who caused the whole story all you can do is blackmail on a computer. you still cant go to her house yet. and shes the whole reason for the game. therapist still no real content. Sara's friend next to nothing and list goes on.
will easily be a 5 star game once complete as has so much potential just hope for more interactions with each girl once they get to end of there content than just in sleep.

I have to say that considering the amount of patrons, the time it is taking for 0.6 to release is disappointing. Even if all of the patrons only paid $1 each, the developers are pocketing $5,000 per month and have made over $15,000 since the last update with nothing to show for it. That is a yearly salary for many people. There are developers here with far less patrons and many working on their own with much more activity.

Considering the guy is making at least $5000 a month bare minimum if every one of his 5000 patrons were only giving $1 each, yes I expect $5000 per month worth of content and I don't see it. It's amazing to me that people take the "it's just a mod/free game" attitude and apply it to someone who is being paid more than most people who went to university specifically to deliver this product.
This is why the VN/game industry is shit, these people that excuse bad behavior and work/business ethic. You are being paid to deliver a product. And this is right there with the "you can't criticize it they worked really hard on it". It doesn't matter how hard you worked on something if your end delivery is shit. That's not real life expectations.

You realise that the usual 70-90 animations took way longer than 1 day,right?Probabaly 1 and half month only for them.And we have renders/at least 800,usualy around 1000/,dialogues,scripts,coding etc.
Not to mention it is said several times that he start the work on 0.6 in the middle of January.So far that is under 2 months.

Obviously these people aren’t aware how long something’s take to program/render/test, plus some of these developers are writing story as they update...whereas professional games are usually written and story-boarded years in advance before the games even announced. Give em time, this is also why Patreon and his product are optional purchases, don’t like his business model, tough shit. Games take 100s of millions of dollars to make nowadays too.

well i prefer Quality over quantity i don't mind waiting a few months to get a good update instead of 5 min worth of bad content that still has bugs in it

It's funny how when developers take more than the typical month to release an update, some people start to adopt that Dual Family mentality and begin to question the devs work ethic when passed releases of this game have shown nothing but A+ effort, especially the most recent one with Linda.

Anything under $5000 justifies it being just a Ren'Py game. I think that's the market pricing at the moment, but I could be wrong.

As some in the software engineering field I get annoyed when people complain things are taking too long. I have deadlines, seeing people work at there own pace and through kickstarter programs like patreon make me want to give it a go. We average $60k a year, a lot of us work lots of overtime to meet deadlines and some of the software literally takes years to finish before clients even see an demo let alone a bug free one. It really annoys me when someone starts harassing me for a piece of code or something is taking me longer than it should, even more so when real life comes a knocking.
So to those that work upon donations and kickstarters who may or may not make deadlines and may suffer not making enough for bread this month but still give it a go...hats off to you beautiful people who allow me to relieve my stress by playing your wonderful stories. Cheers!
