Well of course we decide. Whether we will know what we are deciding is another matter. Most likely yes he is cooked at K1 but there will be a way to save him. How, we...do...not...know. However, I would be very surprised if after a set sequence of events it then won't be completely out of our hands. Choices in KG do matter.

Let's say the Karlsson Gambit is very good because there are an amazing number of choices. So far there has been no dead end. That's why it would be strange in the end if K1 Kane couldnt be saved at all.
If Kane is already unworthy and unable to live alone, his powerful family saves him.

Excited isn't the word I'd use for me. I'm morbidly curious (as I am with most of the sub route stuff) and have a K1 save just to see where it can go. I'll toss it in a spoiler just in case.

We tend to hate dead ends in VNs. Smart devs know to give a way out to avoid backlash. I see it as more of a business decision than a desire to actually save him at that state. There's at least one person who will play this, stumbling along the way, get killed, and then gripe about it.

Of course he did. He started to understand a lot of things in general, and that can't help but make me glad. KaneDom in pt2, imo, changed dramatically, stopped being stupid (which happened to him from time to time before) and became much more proactive and attentive to details.

Kane started thinking strategically and learning from what he heard and thinking ahead...Not to mention his dramatically increased assertiveness and skyrocketing confidence in himself and his right to "be first among equals". We finally got the KaneDom we deserved from the very beginning of the game. And from what I've seen, I get the impression that the Karlssons decided not to wait until after the game show and decided to prepare KaneDom in advance for the M-->Z1 stage.

Well, based on the fact that the maximum rank possible to get in the pt3 finals is K10, we need M rank to get straight into the accelerated executives training courses, so we'll probably have to use k-pass after all..

There was a conversation with Olivia at the end of Season 1, or somewhere in Episode 8 part 1, where she warns him that at the next rank evaluation (perhaps at the Gameshow itself), Kane will have one last chance to use the K-pass or lose it without using it.

Mav, honestly, I don't think Amy will need our help. As you may have noticed, the Karlsson's have their own plans for all of our girls (Wpod2)..This was mentioned when we were first introduced to them. And I don't think Amy is in any real danger, which can't be said for guys like Jake or Zach.

So if we get a chance to take Amy into our own personal harem, in company with Lily (and hopefully Gemini) as a reward for our flawless performance on the show, I'll be very glad..
