Just read the latest reviews and it occurs to me that, despite that, for the most part, I enjoy this game for what it is, they're right to point out that, unless you're following the walkthrough, it's hard to progress in a way different than visiting all locations at different times hoping for some progress in some arc. This is the down side of what some people praise so much about "no-hand-holding" open world games. My impression is that a good quest log is important. If some say it turns the game into a mechanical, follow the quest log gameplay, this isn't a bad thing in eroge. People want to advance the story and usually don't take pleasure in repetitive, inconsequential actions. So, despite the excellent walkthrough that
Vilelab provides to patrons, good in-game quest logs and even map tags would be a nice bridge between the freedom to play and open-world game while setting priorities, and the ability to follow story arcs with as little grinding as possible.
