I don't know why you guys always mock the fish. The fish is an amazing feature. You can put money into its budget, and you can take money OUT: it's a bank. In the later parts of the game you are swimming in cash, especially in later playthroughs, because you already bought all of Jacob's stupid drawings in previous runs and have nothing more to spend it on (at least if you are playing without minigames like me). So, where does the money go? Into the fish! On some of my later saves I have like 10$ or so in the fish, plus 10$ more on hand. When the next episode comes and you have to pay 20$ ransom for Riona, I'm set.

That some next level trolling Josy is the only reason Maya evens works without Josy no one would like her. If someone doesn't think Josy got a story ok that their right but if then they say Sage has a story then they are a liar because they are the same story and that cannot be argue against

I will admit I did try and Bait you a bit, but there is truth to what I said - you did kinda agree with what I said, without Josy Maya would be nothing, she is essentially the crutch that's keeping Mayas story going.
I don't quite get why you are saying Sage's and Josy's Story are the same though, other than the fact there partner was cheating on them with the opposite person you would think due to there supposedly sexuality. that's pretty much the only thing they have in common.

I don't see Josy as a crutch she can stand on her own Maya on the other hand can't really she needs something. Josy and Sage overlap a lot: both cheated on by gay/bi partner, hate their brother/ step brother, doesn't let mc going easily, big in helping maya, parents relationship ended, hobby mc helps(provided it true Josy going into modeling)

There's not enough content to justify over a year wait and it's only going to get longer from. People called me crazy when I said "Looking at the trajectory, it will reach a point where it takes over a year." Over a years wait for an episode you'll done in a few hours. Episode 12 will take two years and this looks it will take over a decade to be completed. It's avn and not AAA game.

I'd say there is no guarantees that episode 12 will take 24 Months, but then the trajectory would suggest that its going to take longer than the 15 Episode 11 got, 18 months I think is a good shout. there's also the fact that its a season finale so he's gonna wanna go out with a bang, we might even push more than 18 months.

Once we get into season 4 though, I'd say all bets are off, Will DPC want to increase his ever growing render count per episodes, will we get a new minigame instead of the party planner? Will it become a bit more kinetic novel as paths start to close as we get to the end?

Its hard to say, but Its definitely going to be a long wait for answers now!

Can she though? Without Maya, where is her story? And that's a genuine question by the way. She'd eventually come to B&R and Maya wouldn't be there to stop her getting with the main character, so she can happily get with Tremelo, (yeah there may be drama with Tommy) Maya wouldn't be there to have financial troubles (the current drive in the plot is gone), Maya wouldn't be there to go to Burke and potentially bring down the restaurant (another drive in the plot gone)... There's nothing much left there, Drama is gone.

While she may mirror Sage in the ways you said, which is kinda reaching at straws... Yes, they were cheated on by their partner and they went in a direction opposite to what their sexuality would suggest, both with a bloke. Sage actually left her partner, Josy forgave and forgot (and still didn't get over the MC) Josy definitely doesn't hate Tommy, at least not to the level Sage hates Tybalt. I will admit is definitely more one-sided with Tommy perhaps caring more. The not letting MC go I will grant, this shows quite a lot if MC rejects her. They both have their motives for helping Maya though and they very different. Jill even wants to help Maya. Well Josys parents may be divorced, Sage's Parents we know nothing about, and her adopted parents although now separating, were not at the start of this journey. Yes they may have a few characteristics that are similar, but I don't know what story can be told for Josy without Maya.

I've been play-testing for the better part of the week. I am now focusing on continuity and replaying the entire game, Episodes 1-11, during my tests. I will make a couple of playthroughs like this in the upcoming week, and it's pretty time-consuming as the game grows bigger.

He's probably using SanchoMod, no... worse than that, he's using the satanic Scrappymod to speed up the testing because he got annoyed by minigames and free roams.

Then, animations are a bottleneck like most of us always said. He could pay online rendering service and get all done in two days. I have the prophetic vision he won't do it

Ultimately though, If you take Maya out of the equation.... what are we left will
Bella - her story would continue regardless, we would have her and the MC falling for each other over seasons 1 & 2 we still have her husband mystery, we still have the fact the two shouldn't be together and such
Jill - her story would continue regardless, we would still have them falling for each other over seasons 1 & 2, we would still have MC bringing her out of her shell, and we still have the mystery of who MC and Jills parents knew each other if at all
Josy - She would never have had Maya holding her back with MC at the very beginning, MC would have not felt bad at the meal she prepared therefore guaranteeing he slept with her, and they'd probably be together by the time she got to B&R - there's no drama going forward, Yes she insecure and MC can help with that, but there's no drama, no mystery
Sage - Without Maya, the story would continue, Sage would still recruit MC to spy, MC will still teach her how to play guitar, and Sage will still fall for MC the only difference here without Maya is there's no longer any reason to go the Burkes house and find out Sage is a Burke, again like josy there's no real drama or mystery here. you could argue that there can be drama with banging Jade, but without never heading to the burkes' house would it be there?

So yes I can see your argument about Josy and Sage having similar stories, but Sage has a bit more Drama left than Josy does

Ultimately and I like Josy, I just wish she didn't come with Maya... I don't think there is anything left to tell there.

I mean there is a lot of foreshadowing like spring break, valentines, sage possibly staying for her masters if in a relationship. The prostitution ring with Stephen and the scholarship. Mona possibly dead.

Chad being nice to the MC (He pretty much vouched to dawe). Jacob settling down with Zoey or Jacob being the father of the arieth (idk how to spell her name) baby. To name a few.

we are still stuck at thanksgiving and he talks about spring break and valentines day.

Josy's story is better then all of them by a very wide margin, Sage is the only girl that comes close story wise and her is pretty much the same as Josy. Bella is my second favorite but she got no story what so other then James left, being interesting isn't a story. Quinn's story is better then most of the main girls. I don't blame the girls just DPC poor writing .. ok I blame Maya but it not like she would read the story or this post anyway

Dude, what the hell are you smoking? Josy has zero story of her own. Everything about Josy in this game involves her being part of Maya's story. We know snippets of her life and can infer some things about her, but she hasn't really got much going on that is her own thing and she's never really had her own thing going on that's comparable to what the other MGs deal with. The whole thing with Oscar was to highlight that fact, especially to her and make her realise she's got nothing going on that's uniquely hers.

It's next level delusional simping to think she has a better story than any other girl when she literally has nothing going for her on a personal level, and I say that as someone who likes her

Today's update will be short, which is good because we're at the end of the development cycle.

I've been play-testing for the better part of the week. I am now focusing on continuity and replaying the entire game, Episodes 1-11, during my tests. I will make a couple of playthroughs like this in the upcoming week, and it's pretty time-consuming as the game grows bigger.

I've also been taking some time to write content for episode 12 and write the code for the remaining mini-games in Season 3.

I checked the render speed of the animation queue today, and February 7-9 still stands as the completion date. Beta testing will commence shortly thereafter and beta testers have been alerted.

I will post a preliminary changelog for you next Friday and release the final preview of episode 11 before that.
