Hi, this problem occurs with the compressed version. Download the normal version. I had the same problem and when I downloaded the normal version and tried it, it was fine.

I'd rather know the latest versions and if they are on the download section, because there's a 1.3a and download is 1.05 Ren play edition and then there's RPGM edition and I heard that the DLC's also are missing the full versions or something because of Patreon, with all these versions and download links would rather that it be simplified so I can get on with my day instead of trying to be a detective lol

If you devoted even a fraction of the time and effort to genuine inquiry and thoughtful reflection as you do to conjuring baseless assumptions, perhaps you wouldn't find yourself playing the role of a detective you so clearly are not. Ever considered that?

Am I supposed to combine the DLC and the base game, or are they separate? (If they're separate, that's not DLC, but anyway...)
I ask because I tried combining them, and it seems off.
Edit: Okay, it looks like they're separate, but there could be some programming magic that lets you combine them, too. It turns out, I'm not interested in the DLC content after all, so I'm no longer concerned about it.

WTF happened to this game? I just downloaded this game after years and now it has changed beyond recognization and not in a good way. Early, it was freeroam where we could freely move and explore the city. But now it has become like visual novel where you will click on icons. WTF happened to sprites? It was much better that way and much more pleasing to the eyes. But now it has turned like this. I can't understand. Why would they change it so drastically?

There are two versions of the game: one developed in RPG Maker and another in Ren'Py. You're simply playing a different iteration. The original version remains available.
im pretty confused a this point witch is the latest version of the game the ren py or the rpgm one? on therms of cg , routes and content in general witch one has the most? why are 2 versions?

Another thing I'm kind of confused about: the so-called DLC. Is it a separate game with only the new routes, or does the base game also include them? I ask because the recollection room in the base game has space for the CGs and says "Coming Soon" or "Coming with the DLC." So, is there something I'm missing?

IF, the download which is free on their website is the "so-called DLC". It's stand alone and not part of the main game due to Patreon restrictions. They're side stories. They fit under the "separate game with only the new routes". It too comes in RPG Maker or Ren'Py and it too is a matter of preference.
Anything else you're confused about?
