Hopefully he keeps this event as he said he may drop one of the side jobs to speed up the rest, but I agree both side jobs are great, much better than a lot of the side stories. But to play devil's advocate I'll say sometimes you got to just trust the bigger story to unfold.

Dropping both side jobs will make no difference to the speed of updates as it is just another band aid fix like the others.
