But I will give it a go nonetheless.
In terms of the content, I do get the gist that there are routes, but will I get railroaded into one once I choose it? Like if I choose the lesbian route that I read a few posts about above, am I locked into it?

But I will warn you. There are no sex scenes except for with husband. And 6 renders in a dream sequence with some character other than husband. Till now the game only has buildup. If you are playing only for sex scenes don't play this game.

Thank you for the heads up. So in what is 5 years of development or so, there is only sex with 1 character? And I honestly rather have fewer such scenes and a good story than vice versa. If I wanted pure sex scenes I'd go to Pornhub LOL.
So then it means mom can do whatever she wants?
Would also say OP should add Cheating tag to the game, since mom would potentially be cheating on hubby with other chars.

I'm sure we will see the cheating tag when she becomes more emotionally attached to a LI or Lust character, which could be soon after her encounter with "Antonio."

Story wise this is the best I have come across. Proper dialogues and a good understanding of how the tension and erotism is built. All in all well done elaborate scenes. Also the game is a slow burn and tries to take a realist approach. Things have escalated from the PD ( playable day )12 onwards. And the first lesbian sex scene is supposed to happen around Playable Day 15, 2 hetero sex scenes and 1 lesbian sex scene on PD 16.
Currently we are at the beginning of PD 13 and at the current pace reaching PD 15 will take around 3 years.

This is how he knows but can happen between P.D. 13 - 19, but the 1st Hetro will be P.D. 13-16 with the breakout here.

by the why we know if "part 2" of a wife and mother will transfer the saves for part 1 or just ask what we choose?
yes Sophie/emma is more interesting.but you know about the shy one...

When ending AWAM1, you will be asked to type a name for your "Final save". This will:
- store this save in a multi persistent area (directly accessible from AWAM2)
- generate a file in a "finalsaves" folder you can manually transfer in the "finalsaves" folder of AWAM2 (or give to other players)
When you'll start a game in AWAM2, Renpy will scan the multi persistent area and the "finalsaves" folder and give you the list of saves you can use.
