Try to view a change-log>currently we're 3004 renders and 153 animations
Interesting. Anyone can link where we have the renders for each of the past episodes ? Curious to compare

Thanks, i almost hope we could get this update in 2 weeks... a little bit naive.Neither. He's saying he'll probably need 2 weeks for testing, but that's after he's done what's left which currently consists of:
That might all take another few weeks, then DPC will playtest and polish it before sending it to the testers and that might take 2 weeks. So end of October/start of November is looking most likely.
- A queue of 125 renders and 37 animations
- Roughly 10-15 animations he has left to pose and render
- 150-300 static renders to pose and render
- Phone content
- 2 free-roam events
- Coding.
2 ways of getting the update:Regarding updates etc, when a vn is updated. How do you handle the installation? Just unzip the new update and overwrite the old folder?
Im starting to get multiple givers for thre sake vn street a few updates. I don't want to screw with losing saves etc.
Kinda loking forward to seeing how many renders each character gets in this one. Maya's still way out in the lead with both renders (1245) and animations (73), so it will be interesting to see if she stretches that lead further or if anyone can catch up.ep1 Feb 7, 1301 renders, 51 animations
ep2 May 4, 1709 renders, 77 animations
ep3 Aug 16, 2289 renders, 99 animations
ep4 Jan 10, 2532 renders, 134 animations
ep5 May 29, 2456 renders, 157 animations
Yeah I use mods (walkthrough and gallery mods)2 ways of getting the update:
Option 2 will overwrite some files, like the Season 2 .rpy files and probably the gallery and gui .rpy files since we're getting a new look Special Render menu, but it shouldn't mess with the saves files so long as they were all made with the clean version and not the mod version.
- Get the whole game which will be around 11GB according to DPC
- Get the update patch, which will be considerably smaller at around 2GB, and apply it to the current copy you have of the game (best to probably have 0.5.2).
Well, if you've made saves with those mods (i.e. you made changes to stats, etc, and saved the game), they won't work with the patch update. You need a clean, unmodded version of the game and clean unmodded saves to be able to continue.Yeah I use mods (walkthrough and gallery mods)
Dude You need a gf xDIs it bad I have a 1tb ssd dedicated to vn's?
And it's already half filled?
I download several at a time, haven't played them all yet. I also haven't deleted anything either.Dude You need a gf xD
Thanks! The 3004 renders and 153 animations are the final figure or estimated for now and will probably grow? Anyone knows?ep1 Feb 7, 1301 renders, 51 animations

this continuous increase in renders and animations as players can only please us, but doesn't it make you fear that the times between one episode and the next may expand?ep1 Feb 7, 1301 renders, 51 animations

Don't take my comment seriously, I was just kidding, I don't have that many games, but I must have almost 60gbI download several at a time, haven't played them all yet. I also haven't deleted anything either.
I date around but nothing serious as I work 50-60 hrs a week. My job is stressful enough, so when I get home, I make dinner, relax and maybe check out a vn. A steady gf would be nice, but at my age it's s but more involved.
No. I don't think he'll ever go beyond 5 months per update, and whilst that is still a long time considering how many possible episodes there still are (10 more episodes x 5 months = 4.2 years), the quality you get for it is worth the wait.this continuous increase in renders and animations as players can only please us, but doesn't it make you fear that the times between one episode and the next may expand?
you don't need to start a new clean save, simply use the "DETECTED MOD" ERROR FIX and you'll be good to go.Yeah I use mods (walkthrough and gallery mods)
I just cleaned up 100GB by deleting zip files from my downloads folder. Should clean up another 100 if I delete old versions of games that I keep for some reason I don't rememberDon't take my comment seriously, I was just kidding, I don't have that many games, but I must have almost 60gb
I have almost the same.I download several at a time, haven't played them all yet. I also haven't deleted anything either.

how does it work?you don't need to start a new clean save, simply use the "DETECTED MOD" ERROR FIX and you'll be good to go.
No problem, no harm no foul, the games fill up really quick, I was shocked to see how full that drive got so quickly.Don't take my comment seriously, I was just kidding, I don't have that many games, but I must have almost 60gb
it allows you to play/load modded saves immediately so you don't have to load up a clean save or start over a new clean game just to play the latest update when it drops. It's also needed if you want to install the latest mod version.how does it work?
regularize saves with mod?
never overwrite the old folder...asking for a world of issues. Just unzip and play. Saves will be pucked up from the appdata folder. I keep all my VN's in a folder for the title/series....in that folder are stuff such as patches/WT's etc. I extract a new update to that VN's folder...once I know the current version hasn't any major bugs etc I'll just delete the previous update.Regarding updates etc, when a vn is updated. How do you handle the installation? Just unzip the new update and overwrite the old folder?

Heh good luck with that and keeping organised. I have a sep drive purely for daz stuff...3gb and counting just for assets on that driveNo problem, no harm no foul, the games fill up really quick, I was shocked to see how full that drive got so quickly.
Plus I've been building a 3D library with daz3d in effort to learn and create my own project some day, maybe, lol.
