Yes, I played more and realized that the whole game is a comedy of the absurd and looks quite consistent and fun. I was wrong. At first i thought that the author was trying to build some kind of drama with a “deep plot”.

Two things...
First of all, a father romancing his daughter... Even a seasoned writer would find it hard to write a serious story along that plotline...
Secondly, even if they could, it would require a long build-up with potentially little pay-off overtime... Something, I don't think the audience of adult VNs has fully learned to appreciate yet...
Don't get me wrong, I would really like it, hell, I even dream of it - a convincing yet enjoyable story with an incest theme... But I haven't quite seen it done in adult VNs yet... But there are a handful that gets close...

For the most, yes, I do tend to go with decisions that I would make if these games were real life, particularly if those choices are between being a good guy or an asshole.
I don't generally tend to go with the F/D stuff, mainly because the thought of my Dad and sister like that grosses me out
However, I have played a couple of games with it like Dating My Daughter and Depraved Awakening and have enjoyed them, but for the most part I'm more interested in B/S, M/S, M/D, and C/C.

Working on one right now (at least the story for a VN), and you're right, it's very difficult to make it convincing.
No. Free roam destroys most games. Look at indecent desires, it started as amazing VN and then the devs changed to a horrible free roam system with no hints whatsoever, a horrible designed walkthrough that you can't follow if you look at it in the middle of already started paths and barely any new content for each update.
Free roam is mostly used by devs to pretend they're doing big upgrades by making you grind a scene 20 times before you can progress from a boob scene to an ass scene. It's also never actual "freedom" that you seem to praise. You have to visit characters for specific scenes and events at specifics days during a week and at specific times, introducing yet another pointless and stupid grind for this game genre.
Do not change this, let it stay VN. Thank you.

Indecent desire is a good game. But it lacks quest log / proper walkthrough. Developer destroyed it

Of course, I got your point. In indecent desire, After dark alley quest i almost cursed that game thinking it is buggy game. But I just missed thing there (i didn't know that some money available just Infront of front door). It Just need a proper walkthrough & good timely upgrades like *false hero*

I'll admit that I do get a little tired of games that feel a bit too ridiculous because they're a dime a dozen, which is why I greatly appreciate games like this one that feel more grounded in reality even if there are small elements that seem unrealistic. But overall I do think people whine about realism too much, especially in games that have a greater level of realism than most because, at the end of the day, these are works of fiction which by this very definition means they can be as unrealistic as they like. It's also ironic that they whine about realism in a porn game when the entire porn industry was built around unrealistic sexual scenarios and expectations.
Ultimately, I think it would be a good thing if there could be a better balance between games where sex is simply a part of the story, and games where sex is the main point of the story as it's currently heavily tilted towards the latter.

Indecent Desires has good renders and hot characters but seems to have absolutely no idea what it's doing as far as story and progression.
