I feel like some Devs who have one hit, not naming names here, Shmocker Shmink Shmake, get an ego based on the success of a single game then feel like their too good to have/take any suggestions or feedback and pull out a paywall.
Yes we get it is your game and all but sometimes fan suggestion can help a story or add content that may not have been thought up. That sort of thing doesn't hurt to have.
That's why for me I consider myself someone who likes to leave messages for certain devs of games that I frequent and say 'Here's some ideas that I have and thought and your entirely free to use if you feel like it or if you want to. I'll happily take a shout out for it.'

But there is always F95 for those things which are behind a paywall, right? I can say for myself that many things are not so obvious. I'm still a beginner developer, and what seems awesome to me may not impress others at all. The other day I created a character, and thought that it was more than good. And then I received comments that its appearance/look is rather strange. I was baffled, and decided that on some issues it’s good to know the opinions of other people - the more feedback I get, the more I understand what people like.

Depends on who you want to be. Chick route is more romantically inclined while DiK route leads to more sex. Or you could try and balance it and be somewhat neutral.

Well that's exactly what's happened here and it's a poor showing sure he wants to distance himself from the pirate side of it but to go this far is just too much.

Well not for DPC as he seems to have turned his back on this place and to even get hold of the guy you now have to be a patreon of his even to access his discord. Thing is with F95 you are going to get more criticism as I think sometimes patrons don't want to upset the dev or overstep the mark. On here you are more likely to get a balanced opinion some good and some bad and that's probably a much better thing to have than just some people always agreeing.

On first playthrough just use the choices that "feel" right to you in that situation. There is no real wrong.
And if you want you can always start a next playthrough with specific decisions (full dick or full chick choices as most likely examples)

Yeah I prefer to do things slow and build up the lust like you said she will be like a proper girlfriend for the mc
Then when we finally can have her that's gonna be amazing but I just hope It won't be like 2 scenes with her and then the Game is over lol

That's one of the concerns I have too. Back when we were 3 episodes in she had literally one scene in the gallery while someone like Maya had 4 already and other girls 2-3 even the side ones. That same issue is happening over in City of Broken Dreamers too where many of these girls are 4-5 sex scenes in and Katie still hasn't had even one. By the time she gets one the game will probably be coming to an end. Thank goodness I also like Chandra in that game or I'd be in trouble. I just hope in Jill's case once it does happen some lost ground will be made up; ending it with her only having like 1-2 sex scenes would be a bit sad. But we'll see, I'm pretty sure whatever it is it will be worth the wait since DPC is taking a slow burn romantic route with her.

I think the wait will be worth it. We have a lot of girls in the game, he's doing his best, still having to take the main story into account. But I believe that the next EPs, or perhaps in the season following this next one, we will have the payment of the debts, with interest included.

For me, Jill is one of those cases that it is better to be patient and let it develop. In the end the reward will be greater. Just for the feeling of achievement, like having another type of relationship within the game. He's doing a great job about that. We have a little bit of everything, and Jill does the "girlfriend thing" very well.

I will say that this thread has had moderators step in and lay down the law. I have had one post of mine pulled up for being off-topic.
But I agree I can forsee a HeavyFire coming for us one day

In other threads I have had several comments deleted for the stupidest possible reasons. I will not go into details.
But if they didn't let the tide flow here, this wouldn't be the most fun thread on the site.

And this what I fear for some Devs, including Shmocker Shmink Shmake, is that just because you have a story or game that is going well, they ignore the fans who love the game and simply want to help with content. And with what he is doing now with closing off the discord to patreons only (Though I thought I saw that it was going to be read-only till some date then it was going to go back to being open) I feel like the ego is getting to him.

That's why for me, someone who is trying to become an author of a book at some point as I slowly write it on paper and in my head, I would like feedback and suggestions. Maybe someone has something that I didn't think prior might make my story better or add context to it.

Wait, what? I thought DPC is one of the most popular devs! I see so many positive comments about BaDIK on the site. That's what made me wonder what is so special about the game and the dev...

On here you are more likely to get a balanced opinion some good and some bad and that's probably a much better thing to have than just some people always agreeing.

Well, the game as a whole package is great
renders, animations, story, music, college setting (is a big plus for me), music, rooster & swiper (in game apps) are totally fun
all the drama & humor in the game, the way it makes you feel happy, sad or angry, that you think about the game a few weeks (yeah right LOL better say months ) after it was released...

Let's be real, this game wouldn't have 2509 pages or 50 000+ posts if it was shit

Agreed. Never cease to enjoy reading rooster or lewd talk on swyper or texting, those really fulfill characteristics and story.

It's the person he is becoming lately he is alienating a part of his fanbase and that's wrong. You are still going to get positive comments mostly about the game but recent actions I think a lot of peoples views on the guy have changed.

Noob question about the game interface, and I hope it doesn't get buried before it's answered:

Where can I find a listing keyboard shortcuts for the game? For instance, I stumbled upon F3, which shows the graphics stats, and H, which hides text. F2 pops up numbers in the top left of the screen, but I have no idea what they mean. Is there a complete list somewhere?

I bet you can. I even submitted a ticket. Yeah, believe me.
And the response was super unsatisfactory.
But ok, I left it the way it was and I just avoided the place.
If the same thing happened here, I would simply stop participating in the whole site.

I think that whoever loses the most is the game developer himself. Which already adds to the subject that you are talking about.
In addition to the fact that a thread is busy it has only helped to bring more fans to the game, as here, you can still lose the parts of the good reviews etc
Let people post. I think the intervention is only valid if someone is really offended. Or in the case of real spam etc².
