What? I said nothing about Ian needing to be a loser. My first paragraph was agreeing with you and SearingFive, my second paragraph was an aside comment about the actual corruption. As SearingFive states in his post and I mentioned in earlier posts, Holly changes because she wants Ian to notice her under the missconception he is into slutty girls. How much of a missconception this is actually hinges on how we play Ian. I estimate that Holly will not become more slutty if she and Ian come together after the beach holiday. I think slutty Holly is a late path to be together with Holly if you did not got together earlier.
But that has nothing to do with Ian being a loser, as Blurpee69 falsely assumes. It can be that Ian really likes wild girls and the "new, improved" Holly is exactly what he wants. It might be two-sided shyness which kept them apart earlier.
A loser Ian that can't even bag a girl that clearly interested in him. So she changes her style and personality because she thinks Ian isn't interested in her, when he's in fact just a loser and can't pick up on her obvious interest. It's two people interested in each other completely misreading the other and one completely changing who she is as a result. Made even better if in the future Holly sees Ian for the loser he is, in this scenario, and wants nothing to do with him.
It's the kind of corruption I can get behind.
