Not much news after so many years, it's clear that being nervous and anxious is inherent to his personality... (and somehow, those who have it, find beneficial or destructive ways to continue living)
And his mania for perfectionism that makes him throw away half of the work he's done...every time (if I remember correctly, Where It All Began has already had 3 reboots)

Curiously, many comments about living and seeing this 2 saga end, and forget to mention that even DEV has his day to turn his last card... and earn his one-way ticket.

I've been playing ocean games since Katie passed around Darkstar like candy, coked up looking Miru banged the prison warden, Nika was an edgelord who wanted to shoot people, Sandra chilled at bars while pregnant with Maja, and Elena and Amber tried to put William in jail.
I'm aware of Ocean's issues with commitment to vision, Patreon Schutzstaffel, and German tax collectors.

There have been no drastic changes in the story and situations in the meantime.

No, every chapter Ocean's learned something new. So graphically, it was pretty similar from Ch1-5, once Willi got back from the camping trip, Ocean probably upgraded his DAZ assets or got a new card. It got to the court case,and Ocean realised it was too crazy to try and make it look right with three different hairstyle for WIlli. So he started fresh. That version is the current game, he's released 3 chapters so far.

As to the story, yes there have been changes. The whole farm thing, the Emilio thing, Leia growing drugs, that never happened in the original. There was no spider fight in the original. Th whole situation with the police station was very different. And Mon was very different characterwise, and how she is part of the main plot, rather than a side character. Oh, and Daphne, she's new and important.

The prison scene wasn't removed, it made it all the way until Ocean restarted the game. The current game hasn't reached that part of the story, if it still will.

If this much stuff in your basic premise is questionable with very little connection to the two versions of WiaB that have existed, I think you'll find people are very sceptical of the rest of what you're saying.

I shouldn't get into politics here..
I thought I had changed a bit, but speaking badly, even if it's the truth or not about any DEV (it depends on your interpretation and I based myself on his own text and after so many years) would end up clashing with the fan base.

I hope after all this time dev won't forget about or change plans regarding Miru Pornstar career. I know it was mentioned in game that it would perhaps start with softer content such as photoshoots, and that's fine, but I hope the end goal remains the same and gets realized in my lifetime (and I'd give myself just few more years tbh haha). Contrary to popular belief, there aren't that many games where you can date a sex worker - at most it gets introduced and then either abandoned or everyone change their minds and become puritan.
