Make a new save game after every update. I don't know RenPy well enough to guarantee anything will work cross save like that.

You'll want to start a new game every time any way, cause my dev cycle isn't linear, so a new scene might be added earlier than your save is at, if that makes sense.

Just extract the file and put the "Velma" folder in the "Images" folder in the game.
