the spider is missing can't find it
check in your room and cellar, it sometimes appears in one of those places, just click on the name, Alfred and you'll get a chance to catch it. It does not appear every day but it does appear.

Where is the content? I'm on like day 30 and all I've seen is some sex with a lumberjack.
story, lumberjack, Veela orgy and sex with a guy that randomly pops out once. That's it as far as the sex goes.

Did I miss something or trigger a bug? I can't get to town. It's been 73 days. I found the spider but nothing else triggered.

game looks like it's being rebuilt so it probably didn't get that far yet.
Yeah, I played a bunch and realized stuff is cut. It is barely mentioned in the walkthrough

Few different things seem to cause the game to softlock. The scene where Alfred first goes missing and you have to say you'll fine him. Giving her tea and the farm exterminating the vermin.

Found a few bugs.
  1. some asset paths start with a leading /, which makes them resolved relative to the site's route - this breaks on my local server, for which the game's index.html is not at the root. That causes minigames (e.g. rat extermination) not to load.
  2. similarly, some paths use Images (capitalized), whereas the folder is called images - this breaks on Linux. I fixed this by making a symlink, but ideally paths should be exact.
  3. relocate_spider causes a missing reference because it uses ra instead of ra$1, resulting in a softlock at midnight.
  4. similarly, a softlock when bringing tea to the witch.

Here's a modified index.js with those issues (except the second one) fixed (replace the game's index-BoC7ra9d.js with it). I haven't experienced any more problems after making those changes.

The game is quite nice. I do wish there were more unique events, and opportunities to repeat events like Edwine's arrival.
Oh, and by the way: sandwiches really should count as the same dish even when they have different ingredients. Currently they don't, and so I've been keeping my witch on a rotation of 3 slightly different lavish sandwiches forever.

EDIT: oh, and also: the save code seems to have been taken from the previous game, so the exported save's name is still "Fake AI Saves".

I wish I had known that several hours ago :cry: . I had badly set bundler but I didn't notice because everything worked well in dev mode. I will have to release the source files but I'm embarrassed for my code.


these avatars with the free city npcs would be crazy
I actually considered modding Free Cities (it's one of my favourite games) to add Dynamic Avatar Drawer. However, there are already mods with pretty decent avatars.
