The page is too confusing to read, and it does not have any references, the only one I could find was a Facebook page. The page also does not meet the notability guideline. Audi1merc2 (talk) 09:18, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
- Comment I've cleaned the page up so it's comprehensible. I'm torn about this: on the one hand, we have a longstanding practice of assuming that secondary schools are notable: on the other hand I'm struggling to find evidence that this school even exists. - There's not a contradiction in those two things, Vanamonde93. Remember that according to WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, the consensus is that secondary school articles are usually kept, except where independent sources cannot be found. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:12, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- Cordless Larry: true enough, there is no direct contradiction. What I mean to say is that while I can determine relatively quickly whether significant coverage in an independent source exists, it's much harder to determine the absence of sources that even mention something. Hence my hesitation to !vote delete, even when I did not immediately find something: and it seems like I was justified in hesitating, because Pharaoh of the Wizards has found such evidence, so keep seems appropriate now. - There is a school called THIRUVALLUVAR GOVT HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL in ALANGOTTAI as per Tamil Nadu Government Directorate of School education as per this and in some court case here is listed as one of the respondents.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 22:59, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
- Keep This is a rural Government school in Tamil Nadu. This states that the school was used a Election booth and it does show that the school exists in Alankottai in Tiruvarur district.Such rural schools do not have a web site and there is very little coverage.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 21:44, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- Keep we do appear to have the proof we need that it meets WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, regardless of the state of the article. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 08:58, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
- Keep per longstanding consensus on secondary schools. VMS Mosaic (talk) 22:56, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
