I've wanted to give it a go but I've been burned by uncompleted games so often that it gives me pause........

It's more of a management sandbox game rather than a traditional linear story, so if you enjoy that I'd check it out.

Pretty Easy. Just use this link to get the most up to date version. It and its mods are updated a lot more than Latest Updates show, but someone usually has a complete working version in the discussion threads.
