I think Patricia is happy to see her sister go wild a bit but I think that somewhere Patricia wants her sister to herself.
A kind of little jealousy and it's why she is so "demonstrative" towards Sophia.

From my point of view, the discussion about the fact that the story does not yet include sex outside of marriage is closely related to the point that the project is a bit too ambitious. I've been asking for some time now how many years L&P has actually planned for this project. All I ever see is that the story continues to fragment and the development time needed for a gameday is getting longer and longer.
So, since we are 2 days away from playable day 16, after the update drops, would we be 1 update away from playable day 16 by the same time next year? i mean considering playable day 16 is after 4 more updates after the new update drops

Why get rid of Liam? Patricia can already do whatever she might want to with the other Parkers. Just call it a "Girl's Night"

It depends on what choices you made and which route you take. my Liam has a loving wife, gorgeous kids, and the sex is improving last it was 6min. and Sophia reaches here and there for some asses and tits, I'm curious about Liam's reaction ;-)

So far Liam's been pretty chill with what Sophia gets up to, and so far being completely oblivious to Sophia possibly be cheating. I think one reason I'm enjoying the lesbian route so much is that it just doesn't seem to occur to him that Sophia might be fooling around with other women.
But yeah, back to the original point, I don't think Carl would buy the mansion outright either. But he could. I think Carl would more likely act as a guarantor, if he ever found out Liam gambled with the house.
On the other hand, a hard-working man, Liam, who can become CEO without being the owner's son, is portrayed here as a garbage. Liam seems isolated in the family, we have no evidence of love from his children.

What's sad is that he takes 6 months to develop what should have been a 2 month development cycle and that ends on a 15 minute (at best) playthrough.
Pair that with only having 1 more update this year (at best) which will mean 2 thirds of a day in game in a year and yeah I think people have enough reasons to be disapointed.
