Fun fact: Wacek later explained to me that those two add-ons have a strange synergy (and aren't a random pick like I believed). If you miss a knife that flies into the sky it actually takes several seconds for the game to realize it was a missed attack, allowing you to keep the speed boost for consecutive hits for longer. So it did make sense to bring them together. Pray you never wrong a Trickster main, these guys are something else.

You should do this but with lower hours, like guessing between 100h, 400h and 800h, but not telling they're all low hours and letting them give a rough estimate
I agree because I feel like the biggest difference in skill comes from those early hours
Agree, 4k hours is more than enough to master most of the killers (like the trickster), doubt he's can get much better than hitting 90% of his knives with the next 4k hours. The game is hard to master, but when you OTP one killer for several thousand hours you already are the master at it by the time you hit 4k hours.
Couldnt agree more. Why isnt it a larger range of hours? This 4k 5k 6k 7k is just boring and stupid to guess. Whats the difference. At that point its just whos the better gamer really cause by then they’ve more to than hit their ceiling

I guessed all of them correctly, yay. I knew almost all of the Killer players as well, only confusing the Slinger player for someone else with a similar amount of hours.

What's the point of having the answers be so close to eachother. There is relatively no difference between a 4.1k player and a 7k player. Should've went with 200, 1k, 4k, 8k hours for every killer
Exactly what I thought. After 1k hours in any game you are pretty much making very little differences. Need to see 10-1000 for the differences.

It's more like, he's one of the best tricksters if not the best, and also there are well known players who have nearly 3x his playtime that could not play one individual killer so well. otz for example has over 13k hours. dbd is also a notorious timesink, it takes kind of a crazy amount of hours to get truly consistently good.

The problem with DBD is that killers like trickster exist, survivors are balanced to that level, putting any killer who isn’t cringe levels of busted like trickster at a disadvantage.

I religiously don’t use addons on many killers. I feel using them makes me too reliant on them. Nice to see I’m not the only one! Haha
Recently I have started using addons on a lot of killers, yet my blighty boi will remain without addons, probably forever unless I'm just messing around. Used to use addons with him, but kept getting frustrated and angry so I took them off, and felt bliss. He is perfect without any change.

I feel like this video was neat but missed a HUGE important part of things, which was us getting to see Otz and Hans' reactions to learning if they were right or not.

Gonna be honest, I actually don't believe hours make much of a difference when we are already at 4k+ which makes this a bit pointless for me.
Like, sure playtime increases your game knowledge, but only up to like 2-2.5k hours.
I am at 1.7k and I know enough to have looked similar like these on my main. I think these showcases are more interesting with more variation (e.g. 260 hours, 1k hours, 4k hours)
next time do this with a wider range of hours. maybe 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 etc.

So what the hell is the case with Jolt and Deadlock.
Researching that combo, which Hens claims is anti synergy, you get several different answers, it doesn't work, it hits for 8% and doesn't start regressing till unblocked, it doesn't hit for 8 but it will start regressing after unblocked, it does both 8% and regresses gens.
What does it actually do at the moment? it's so frustrating to try and figure this out as a solo player.
If I could’ve heard their voice and how congested each sounded I would got it with 100% accuracy straight away

Can someone explain why Deadlock and Pain Res have anti synergy? Is it bad or just not optimal? I prefer Deadlock to Dead Man's Switch to guarantee slow down.

In my opinion after watching the first part. Someone with 4-5k hours is not going to be much different. Also since there are multiple killers maybe the person has 6k hours but only 20hrs on slinger. I think it would be interesting to see matches from people with lower hours, like guess what prestige they have on the killer 1, 20, 50, 100+
I’m kinda new to dbd, but why do you move backwards as deathslinger when you snipe someone. Shouldn’t you reel them in while moving towards them?
It depends. When you move forwards, it locks the survivor in place as you move to their position. Whereas walking backwards, is dragging them to your position. When you move forwards, they have less control over the chain than if you were to move backwards as well. But more often than not, its better to reel them to your position to reposition yourself or themself in a tile.

i mean if you play a game for 4700 hours thats like working a job 8 hours a day for almost 600+ days, a year has around 250 workdays so i mean how is that "only" 4.7k hours? if you have a real life,job,kids,etc putting 5k hours into a game while having a rl is pretty much alot^^ not veryone on earth plays one game only(or is a streamer)
I have been playing since 2016, of which roughly 600 hours are with 13fps on a school laptop. I total now between 700 and 800 hours, so I guess in comparison I feel a bit better about how clueless of a player i am

this video just proves how easy this game is compared to actual comp heavy games where you can quantify hours a lot more. i’ve seen killers better then these 5k hours and they have like 200 hours
iirc zubat said sth like why would i play huntress when i can play deathslinger (prenerfed) or trickster, and the reason is that survivors have no time to react and dodge. on top of that trickster can hit through smaller holes than huntress can...so i never understand why some people would put huntress so high but trickster so low on their tier list
i mean slinger was just insanely boring zoneing and trickster was insane at proxy camping and 1v1 chases on the right map/tile, now with all the buffs to trickster he is even stronger in 1v1 situations on more maps. huntress is and always was pretty good at alot of maps;tiles etc. huntress ability to arc a hatchet makes here good/viable at alot of loops while trickster might cant get LoS so i dont understand why you dont understand^^
@@PsYcO9iKiLl9YaH huntress and trickster used to have the same movement speed, and trickster doesn't get slowed down as much when using his power. if huntress can get los at a tile then trickster should have no issue getting it too. and you even said it yourself that trickster is good at 1v1, so idk what youre trying to express here. i was just saying that many people underestimate trickster's potential, which is what had been showcased and discussed in this video? hens literally said he might put trickster above huntress
@@jody4210 hens said that thats correct but thats AFTER his buffs, before he was not even close and no, if huntress can hit a hatchet at a tile that doesnt mean trickster can aswell, like i said, huntress can arc shots so that makes her allready a better option on average on alot of maps. you did not say "underestimate" ^^ you said people put huntress over trickster, thats not the same at all^^ but i get what you mean but there is way more needed to make a killer better than the other, strong 1v1 gameplay doenst give you any value if you are playing on the "wrong" map. LoS doesnt mean you can get a hit, trickster cant hit over alot of tiles/obstacles huntress can.

I’m going to be perfectly honest, only have less than 400 hours total in dbd and main slinger… i am confident that I am a lot better than that first slinger, if at all possible, I would love to have a game of mine featured in this

This is silly because the difference in 1 or 2k hours for a person who is highly competitive doesnt change much.
And the proof is in the trickster looking like the most skilled player here yet having the least hours played. Not that slinger and pi head looked bad, not at all. But you really can't tell the difference in someone's skill from 5k to 5k to 6k hours. At a certain point there are diminishing returns on how good you're going to get. The curve levels off.
