I actually really liked the fact that there are at least some situations that arouse Monica. The idea the Monica gets turned on during public events where everyone realizes that it is her, not some double or anything, is quite reasonable. She was always a powerful woman, was in control. Yeah.., but that kind of finale I definitely wouldn't recommend (I mean the finale of the last photoshoot in "The Office", haha.) Monica didn't experience anything like that even in the Falling Path finale, where she was fucked by a whole line of slum locals. It fits with the themes of humiliation throughout the game. She is still consciously fighting her body's desires as she has from early in ep2 but with nowhere to consciously hide what she was doing and who was witnessing, her body's wants superseded her mental desire to be in control. In that moment it worked.

Now where DM goes with this from here is where I share your concern. If he keeps it like the office scene where Monica holds herself all the way until there is no reasonable way for her to deny she is not in control, then loses her fight against her body as in the office scene, these scenes will work, at least for me. If she however now starts thinking of this scene whenever she is interviewed and starts too tease and encourages the press too talk dirty too her from the beginning or starts to look forward to being humiliated then yeah, this will go the way of the Fred and Monica scenes. I really hope it doesn't go this way.

Another point to think about is having Monica loose control of herself and get off from humiliation in the moment is a good way of getting around the restrictions he would feel from Patreon. This might enable him some hardcore scenes many have been waiting for while not risking trouble from the moral police.

There's one very good reason to believe that the threat is very real: how scared Melanie is. She disappeared for a short time when she did and now she is so scared of going back that she does everything Victoria says, and we can see how that is getting worse and worse (and public). Nothing short of a horrible version of the Farm would do that. Of course, it's still stupid that Victoria is the one doing the threatening, but that is the game unfortunately.
