| You have to be a whole other level of insanely powerful to have not just the three from last episode, but now a fourth coming in to ALL jump you lmao. But actually though, this episode made me actually kinda like Hedin…. …. As he’s the only one in the Freya Familia that has an actual functioning brain lol. But yeah, finale is next week, so ofc everyone’s back up for one last battle, and knowing J.C, the animation will probably pop off next week, and I’m excited to see that for sure. |

| So this was kind of a step down from the amazing production values of the last two episodes. I thought the whole point of JC staff delaying the show so long and releasing it in these awkward batches was to give us higher quality animation? Hedin joining the fight today and revealing he betrayed Freya familia because he’s a massive simp for her is pretty funny lol. I gained some respect for him. It’s crazy that even with all of them working together it’s still not enough to beat Ottarl with his beast mode holy shit. Other than that, solid set up episode for what looks to be a very packed finale. We have to defeat Ottarl, resolve everything with Freya and probably set up the next arc. That’s a lot to do in 25 minutes.. let’s see how they handle it |

| Good but not great adaptation. The source material deserved more spectacular and well accomplished animation. They also didn’t' depict Ottar quite so awesomely in his extreme form as described. I don't understand why JC Staff missed on that opportunity. Such a mediocre studio |

| The tide sure has turned but on the slimmest of margins. It is curious seeing Freya's elite splinter like this though. Warlord really proved his might in his battle. But no wall is unbreakable after all. Still Beast mode huh what a trump card. Fitting that the last boss for this arc is the warlord but man am i looking forward to seieng how this plays out next ep. |

| I do respect Hedin more than before with how much he wants to save Freya with his complex plan that he's gone as far as to help Bell, Ryu and Mia in their fight against Ottarl. Their tactics to overwhelm Ottarl did look to work at first, but Ottarl's beast mode simply made all of them look pretty weak in comparison. Still, Hedin's passionate stand in the post-credit scene was really good and bought enough time for the others to get back on their feet to fight once again. I do look forward to seeing how this fight will end. As for Allen, he really has fallen off in his fight against his sister and his stubbornness got the better of his judgement one too many times. His ultimate attack did look visually amazing, though, but the sooner he is defeated, the better. |

| I’m thinking Hedin is easily the best player in this whole War Game, maybe he’s playing dirty by betraying his own familia but he’s got a damn good reason for doing it, he’s pretty much Freya’s most loyal subject after hearing his speeches in this episode, although it was really funny when he pretty much said “IT SHOULDA BEEN ME!” lol. And his eventual assistance against Ottarl made all the difference, as amazing as the Ryu, Mia and Bell combo was, it just wasn’t enough, but Hedin with his ranged assault as the trio kept hammering was finally doing some real damage against the behemoth that is Ottarl… until he went “beast mode” lol. I figured Ottarl had more up his sleeve, as epic as the combined attack was, no way that would be it, but I’m ngl this beast mode is a bit underwhelming, he barely looks any different, but I guess his strength is clear enough that he’s gotten a buff. Also the stuff with Anya and Allen was good, so this dude is just so overprotective that he’s willing to go this far, it’s kinda sweet but he’s clearly gone off the deep end now, I’m hoping for Anya’s sake that she can somehow save the situation but it’s looking real bad atm. And just like that we have 1 episode left of Season 5, the delays have been a shame but the season has slapped so I can’t complain too much. Even this episode, which some are saying was lackluster, I thought was pretty great, hopefully they continue to cook just one more time. |
| It’s been such a great season, if only the production schedule was more consistent. It’s really banished Danmachi from the public Lexicon, and it’s a huge shame. Though, I’m glad it’s still going. Top 5 favorite anime for me. |

| Ok I thought I was being critical, because quite honestly, I wanted the same level of animation that we got from the Ryu vs Hogni fight. I am quite disappointed. My expectations were high. That being said, people calling this mediocre is just inaccurate. We had good story telling, great voice acting, and it flowed great. Was it as good as the last two in terms of animation? Certainty not, but to call it bad is too much in my opinion. Many other anime with average animation would love to have this kind of quality. But I get it, its Danmachi, we know that its capable to give us way better than this. |
| Ahhhhhhh!!! This was a buildup episode for the finale! I still don’t understand why Hedin didn’t remove the rose from the start—was he having an internal conflict or what? Also, I was waiting to see Allen’s full power!! The best scene was Hestia’s entrance *LOL*—she showed up to the battle walking as if she were strolling on a beach!! And is Freya really crying?! Why didn’t she appear in the battle at all this episode? Ahhhhhhh!!! I can’t wait until March 5th! I really hope the finale is top-tier! |
